*** Per the Supreme Court ruling in New York State Rifle & Pistol Association v. Bruen, the good cause requirement is no longer required and will not be considered by the Alameda County Sheriff’s Office. ***

Starting March 1, 2024, ACSO will cease processing CCWs for municipalities in Alameda County. Applicants should now apply or renew their CCW license with their local law enforcement agency. Current local agencies who have announced this are below.
